The Role

Full-time or 0.8FTE, permanent role

Salary is £19,202 to £20,836 per annum (pro rata if part-time)

Location: York

The Careers, Placements and Student Opportunities team is part of the newly formed Directorate of Student Life which places our students' ambitions and aspirations at the heart of what we do. Working collaboratively with employers and partners in the University we deliver an innovative, professional and sector leading service.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who will support the effective operation of the placements team with particular responsibility for the professional placements which form part of our Initial Teacher Education, Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy programmes. You will be first line of contact for students, University staff and staff in placement settings answering queries and negotiating arrangements for placements.

The postholder should have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and will be expected to work independently in ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of the service often within tight timescales.

The role of Placements Administrator is available on a 0.8fte or 1.0fte basis. Please signpost your preference within your application.
