The Learning Technologist has a key role in linking with the King’s Health Partners Institutes and Networks, Clinical Academic Groups and International initiatives to drive change, create access to resources and support the culture of learning through the King’s Health Partners Learning Hub.
To manage and expand the King’s Health Partners Learning Hub: an online repository of e-learning materials for staff, trainees and students across King’s College London, and Guys and St Thomas’, King’s College Hospital and South London and the Maudsley NHS Foundation Trusts and to support the development of resources for the international market.
The Learning Technologist is expected to work proactively to identify potential resources for the Learning Hub and to plan and manage the development of varied e-learning material, including video, webinars, self-paced interactive resources, and Moodle activities.
We are looking for a candidate who is solution focused and can work with a broad range of stakeholders to develop the Learning Hub as a local, national and international resource of excellence. The successful candidate will have a degree or equivalent qualifications, an awareness of a range of education technologies and tools and an understanding of how they can be used to improve teaching, learning and assessment, and will have an understanding of pedagogical theories and instructional design principles.
This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for up to 12 months.
The selection process will include a panel interview and a presentation. Interviews will take place sometime between 30 July and 8 August.
