We are seeking an exceptional individual as Associate Dean Strategic Engagement to work collaboratively with the Pro Vice-Chancellor in developing and implementing an external engagement strategy; driving national and international partnerships; working closely with our Māri and Pacific leaders to develop and enhance partnerships with iwi and Pacific Communities; and to provide leadership for the division's Alumni relations and Professional Programmes which include MBA, MBM and other corporate programmes.

To succeed in this role you will need to be at Associate Professor/Professor level or have equivalent relevant experience. You will hold a PhD and demonstrate a strong track record of leadership and stakeholder management, experience in successful international business development and communication, and a commitment to results-oriented, collaborative and evidence-based ways of working. Demonstrated ability to articulate a vision, lead change in a complex environment and develop innovative strategies are essential together with large-scale budget management experience and excellent interpersonal and communication skill.

We are open to considering an appointment on a fulltime or part-time basis; applicants should state their preference.
