Academic B, $ 92,946-110,372 per annum plus 17% superannuation contribution. This is a full time (36.75 hours per week) ongoing appointment.

 About the Role

The Lecturer – Early Childhood is a teaching and research position and will be required to implement appropriate pedagogies in this area, by utilising high level skills and experience to engage pre-service teachers in this discipline. In addition the appointee will support the College in providing a better student experience in this teaching area, supervise research students, and engage in relevant education research.

About the Person

You will embrace the College agenda in early childhood education and join an emergent research community of practice. Having completed a doctoral degree in a relevant discipline, you will bring high-level skills and experience in teaching early childhood, an agenda in research and a comprehensive understanding of appropriate pedagogies for teaching early childhood.

Skills & Expertise

The work will be characterised by effective collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills, including a capacity to build relationships in working with colleagues, internal and external to the early childhood education group.
