The School of Social Sciences is one of four Schools that comprise the Faculty of Arts. With a strong research culture the School spans five broad disciplinary areas: Anthropology and Development Studies, Asian Studies, Sociology, Criminology and Gender Studies, Geography, Environment and Population and Politics and International Relations.

Reporting to the Executive Dean, the Head of School is responsible for the overall management and leadership of the School. You will drive the improvement of research excellence and student learning experience, and promulgate the strengths of the School locally, nationally and internationally. With exemplary interpersonal skills, your leadership will inspire, motivate and develop staff, promoting a culture of high performance, engagement and commitment.
