BA (Hon) Graphic Design offers a specialist curriculum with a focus on the studio as a creative space and innovative and engaging atmosphere. Students are supported in developing a creative understanding of the specialist structures and disciplines of individual and collaborative Graphic Design practices. The course combines creativity with technical ability to produce exceptional work and career ready graduates.

You will primarily teach level 5 students, with some teaching at level 6, and contribute to module leadership, delivery and assessment. You should be able to demonstrate a professional understanding of Graphic Design practices across a range of applications and the skills or connections to facilitate live projects, work experience studio visits. Working individually and as a member of a team you will be expected to support the practical, conceptual and contextual aspects of the curriculum. You should have experience of teaching in Higher Education within a variety of settings including individual tutorials, seminars, workshops and lectures with large audiences.

The successful candidate will hold a Masters degree in a relevant subject, or willing to obtain it within a period of 2 years, have extensive knowledge and expertise as a contemporary practitioner in Graphic Design, and experience of teaching undergraduate students. Knowledge and/or experience of Graphic Design in an international context and a Doctorate or studying towards one would be desirable. You will be expected to engage with the University Research Agenda
