About this scholarship
The research project is aligned with a recently awarded Australian Research Council Discovery Grant “Nanoparticle regulation of DNA replication and repair pathways”.
The project will suit driven candidates interested in nanoparticle toxicology. Specifically linking physico-chemical properties of nanoparticles to altering gene and protein regulation in cells. The project is in a pioneering area of research to provide high-impact outcomes on how exposure to nanoparticles can lead to genotoxic stress as well as therapeutic opportunities in treatment of cancer with radiotherapy and chemotherapy. The projects are highly multidisciplinary in nature and suited to individuals with nanotechnology, biomedical, biophysics, molecular biology, physical chemistry or similar backgrounds.

$27,596 per year for three (3) years
Eligibility
The scholarship is open to Australian and NZ Citizens and permanent residents of Australia and international students. Applicants must meet the entry requirements for a research degree program at the University of South Australia.
