Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Global Health
The King’s Centre for Global Health & Health Partnerships has an international reputation for health partnerships across the African continent to deliver impactful improvements to health systems, education and healthcare. We look to bring the health, academic and development communities together, drawing on the strengths of each, to achieve meaningful impact and lasting change.
This is an exciting new opportunity seeking an academic leader to join the Centre for Global Health & Health Partnerships within the School and looks to utilise this firm foundation of global health partnerships to deliver a diverse programme of research of international significance, drawing on expertise from our partners in Somaliland, Sierra Leone, DRC and Zambia.
The primary role of the post holder being to strengthen health systems/ health services research to contribute to the growing research focus on strengthening health systems within the School. The post holder will have an established record in this area and will lead a new Research Programme to strengthen research in the King’s Global Health Partnerships.
As well as contributing to teaching on the global health educational programmes within the School, the post holder will collaborate and network with other academics and clinicians involved in global health research and education across King’s and its partner hospitals, as part of the virtual King’s Global Health Institute.
