The University is looking for a qualified and experienced individual for the below stated position;

The position is based at BIUST Campus, Palapye.

The position is offered on fixed term contract of five (5) years/ pensionable terms

FACULTY OF SCIENCES

DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICS AND ASTRONOMY

Lecturer in Accelerator-Based Experimental Nuclear Physics  

To teach and educate undergraduate and graduate students in Physics and to build the knowledge base in accelerator-based Experimental Nuclear Physics; To administer teaching activities within the discipline of Physics and provide leadership at the module or course level; To establish a national and international research reputation in the field of accelerator-based Experimental Nuclear Physics; To be active in professional service related to accelerator-based Experimental Nuclear Physics.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

A PhD in Physics with a focus on accelerator-based Experimental Nuclear Physics; Teaching experience and supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students will be considered as added advantages; Research and publications will be considered as added advantages.
