The Marketing and Communications Directorate is responsible for raising the awareness and reputation of Queen Mary among its target audience, and for increasing the quality and quantity of Queen Mary applicants.
We are looking for an extremely motivated education liaison or student recruitment professional to join our newly restructured directorate in the role of Recruitment and Widening Participation (WP) Manager. You will have a strong track record of working effectively in a highly collaborative environment and be able to demonstrate how you have achieved your objectives through your ability to influence others.
Reporting to the Head of Recruitment and WP, you will lead all aspects of schools liaison and WP activities for the faculty of Science and Engineering. Working across different functions within the marketing and communications directorate, you will coordinate approaches to ensure recruitment from UK audiences in line with expectations, focusing on under-represented groups within the school itself.
You will lead on the end to end delivery of programmes including design, promotion, recruitment, delivery, monitoring, and accountability to access and participation plans. An aspect of this role is to identify gaps in access across the school's student body and devise and implement activities to ensure those gaps are monitored and closed.
In addition, you will actively participate in the development and execution of digital and face to face engagement activity to support the conversion of prospective students at all stages of their journey from initial engagement through to enrolment.

The post is a full time and permanent position. Starting salaries will be in the £37,411 - £44,015 range per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, access to a pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.
