Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention (Ref.: 497106), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Social Science, Education, or other related disciplines. They should have a strong commitment to research and teaching as well as a solid track record in research. Preference will be given to those who have applied research experience in mental health program evaluations. The appointee will take a leading role in overseeing the research projects; supervise a team of research assistants; prepare reports and academic publications; liaise with NGOs and relevant stakeholders; and undertake teaching/training duties related to the projects.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
