Stanford’s Department of Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation (“DAPER”) is the premier intercollegiate athletics program in the country. We are the proud Home of Champions! Summary of Job Responsibilities:

The assistant golf coach would assist the Director of Men’s Golf in the administration of all aspects of the men’s golf program and shall include but is not limited to the following:

  • Recruiting assistance and coordination
  • Mailing, calling, and/or e-mailing all necessary recruit correspondence
  • Assisting with the hosting of men’s intercollegiate tournaments
  • Assisting with fundraising event management
  • Developing maintaining database needs for alumni relations and recruiting
  • Assisting with maintaining and management of varsity practice facility
  • Management of all team equipment and apparel
  • On coarse coaching
  • Workout and practice supervision
  • Assisting with team travel arrangements
  • Student athlete mentoring and monitoring
  • Attention to all NCAA compliance, and budgeting issues
  • Working at the Stanford Golf Camps

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Knowledge of collegiate competitive golf
  • Ethical conduct
  • Passion for Stanford Golf and its improvement
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Trackman, Sam Putt Lab, TPI, ACS Software
