An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, self-motivated scientist to join the veterinary Health innovation engine (vHive) team at the University of Surrey’s School of Veterinary Medicine. The successful applicant will ideally be educated to PhD level, although an experienced person with a MSc may be suitable. Your competencies will include excellent communication skills, being at ease with numbers, enjoying working in a team and having experience or a strong interest in the application of digital technology in animal health or a related field. Duties for this new fixed-term post will include developing materials for peer-reviewed publications; working with vHive colleagues and others to prepare grant proposals, including undertaking any necessary literature reviews or preliminary data analysis; Research support – including data collation, analysis and summary as appropriate; preparation of tables, figures, undertaking queries.
