Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in Developmental Biology/Stem Cell Biology/Regenerative Medicine in the Department of Surgery and the Dr. Li Dak-Sum Research Centre, HKU-Karolinska Institutet Collaboration in Regenerative Medicine (Ref.: 497041), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree, with proven experience and good publication record in the relevant area. Experience in primary cell culture, organoid culture, cell sorting and downstream processing for single cell RNA sequencing would be an advantage. Applicants should be able to work independently and to communicate fluently in English. Good interpersonal skills are required. The appointee will work in a multidisciplinary team to conduct culturing/preparation of organoid/single cell for RNA sequencing and data analysis. He/She will also coordinate and communicate analysis with collaborators, write reports and scientific publications, and supervise postgraduate students. Enquiries about the duties of the post should be sent to Professor Paul K.H.
