Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Division of Public Health Laboratory Sciences (PHLS) of the School of Public Health (Ref.: 497021), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in biological sciences, medical sciences, virology or a related discipline. Outstanding and self-motivated candidates with a proven research track record are encouraged to apply.  Experience in cell biology, immunology, animal handling, virology or microbial pathogens handling in BSL-2/3 level would be an advantage. The appointee is expected to conduct independent and collaborative research on influenza and other emerging infectious viruses. Opportunity for overseas laboratory attachment is available.
