Applications are invited for appointment as Research Associate in the Division of Spine Surgery of the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (Ref.: 495674), to commence in July 2019 for one year, with the possibility of renewal.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in biomedical/medical sciences or a related discipline, preferably with experience in animal surgery and husbandry, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, and western blotting. They should have good communication and writing skills in English, the ability to work independently, and self-motivation. The appointee will participate in the development of a new surgical treatment of an animal model with chronic spinal cord injury. Enquiries about the duties of the post can be sent to Dr. Kenny Kwan at kyhkwan@hku.hk.
