Applications are invited for the full-time post of DTP Manager & Doctoral School Manager (Funding & Recruitment) in the Doctoral School. This role is available from 12th August 2019.

Academic Administration at Royal Holloway is organised into six School Administration teams and the Doctoral School, which are all part of the Academic Services directorate; a single professional service which supports the student journey.

The DTP & Doctoral School Manager (Funding & Recruitment) is responsible for managing the Funding & Recruitment team in the Doctoral School to deliver excellent services in relation to funding, scholarships, recruitment and admissions. This includes the operational delivery of Royal Holloway’s UKRI (UK Research & Innovation) Doctoral Training Partnerships and other sources of PGR funding. This includes acting as the techne Manager, with responsibility for overseeing the management of techne, an AHRC Doctoral Training Partnership which provides scholarships and training for doctoral students in the arts and humanities, which is led by Royal Holloway.

The role will drive the Doctoral School’s vision and service standards and work closely with colleagues across the College to help provide a seamless level of support for research students and the academic staff supporting them

Candidates should have management and leadership experience and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They should also be committed to contributing to the continual development and provision of a high quality service to research students and staff.
