It's an exciting time to join the Information Services Application team (Application Systems Development) at Edinburgh Napier University.
We're looking for a Senior IT Developer (Office 365) to work in a small team of developers and provide day to day technical guidance on development activities.

This role sits within the Information Services application development team whose primary purpose is to design, develop, implement and maintain the business and academic IT systems to support the Universities strategic and operational goals.
The role
As a Senior IT Developer (Office 365), you will be an expert in the development of the solutions within Office 365 and SharePoint Online and will seek opportunities to develop, integrate and enhance the services available.
You will work within a small team of developers and provide day to day technical guidance on development activities.
You will proactively support other IS staff to ensure the effective and reliable delivery of interconnected services across the institution. You will support any new people initiatives and improvements to existing processes.
You will also be required to liaise directly with stakeholders, working collaboratively to improve systems and services for the University, students and customers.
Who we are looking for
Applicants must have:
- Experience in the design, delivery and management of services within Office 365 and SharePoint Online.
- Experience of implementing and supporting new and existing applications and services within Office 365 and SharePoint Online
- Degree or equivalent in a related IT field or extensive relevant experience in a comparable role
- Experience in the integration of Office 365 with on premise service.
- High level of competence in developing applications with C#, .Net, and client-side scripting
- Experience in workflow design and development
- Demonstrable track record in successfully implementing new business processes to deal with new working practices

Salary: GBP 32,236 - GBP 38,460 per annum (Grade 5)
