The Faculty of Dentistry, Oral & Craniofacial Sciences is seeking to recruit a Senior Programme Manager. This role will support the delivery of key aspects of the College Education Strategy and our commitment to improving service delivery and an enhanced student experience. The Senior Programme Manager will lead the undergraduate team, which manages the administration for the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programme and a new BSc Dental Hygiene & Therapy planned for 2020.

The Senior Programme Manager will ensure high quality administrative support is provided by the team from enrolment to graduation: including timetabling, clinical placement administration, managing online teaching resources, assessment administration and working on service & process improvement, alongside the college-wide Student & Education Directorate.

The post holder will be responsible for: delivering policy and processes to enhance the programme administration; overseeing complex issues, including student welfare cases and wider organisational dependencies relevant to delivery of the programmes.

Successful candidates will have good knowledge of the issues involved with programme administration in Higher Education and a desire to improve service delivery and the student experience. They will have excellent organisational and communication skills, experience of leading a team and of managing projects, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
