Position Summary:

The Pro Vice-Chancellor (Indigenous) provides leadership of the University’s Indigenous strategy. The position engages with Indigenous Australians, University students, staff and the community to enhance respect for Indigenous knowledge systems and perspectives, and to progress Indigenous advancement in education, research, employment and wellbeing.

Reporting to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Students), the position will provide leadership and management of the Office of Indigenous Strategy and Engagement, and will be responsible for achievement of objectives outlined in the University’s Indigenous student success plan. The position will contribute to research and education outcomes for the University consistent with expectations of the academic level of appointment.

Please note: Pursuant to the Children’s Protection Act 1993 (SA) this position has been deemed prescribed. It is an inherent requirement of the position that the successful candidate maintains a current Child Related Employment Screening which is satisfactory to the University.
