ECU is seeking a Policy Adviser with a background in Research to provide high-level advice to support decision-making at the University. You will work closely with Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research and provide high quality, research-informed briefings and strategic advice.
To succeed in this role, you must have experience in policy development and have excellent writing and analytical skills in order to develop strategic plans and initiatives. You must have a thorough understanding of the research policy environment and the drivers impacting research in a State, National and International context and be able to make strategic recommendations in an environment with tight deadlines.
An understanding of how research governance occurs within a University would be an advantage.
You must be a strong team player with good analytical skills and be able to demonstrate personal attributes consistent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry and Personal Excellence.
Benefits & Remuneration
This ongoing, full-time position attracts a salary of $100,036 - $112,874 plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
