Assistant Learning Technologist
The purpose of this role is to work closely with Learning Technologists at the Faculty of Dentistry, Oral & Craniofacial Sciences (FoDOCS). The team also provides digital learning services for the Florence Nightingale Faculty for Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care (NMPC). The Assistant Learning Technologist supports various TEL and Digital Education projects and is involved in the development, delivery and support of online and blended learning programmes.
The Assistant Learning Technologist must have experience in providing support in the design, development, evaluation and implementation of learning technologies and resources. The postholder will provide assistance to staff and students in using digital learning solutions. They will contribute to the delivery of digital learning development projects and content production requirements from the two faculties. They will be responsible for providing administration and management of technical queries and support relevant to TEL. This will include providing guidance and training to students and staff on the use of digital technologies used by the faculties and at King’s such as Turnitin, Mahara, Echo 360, Evasys, etc. This role will work under the Director of iTEL Hub and work closely with the joint Learning Technology coordinators.
