King’s College London is seeking to appoint a doctoral training manager to support the ‘STAI’ (Safe and Trusted Artificial Intelligence) Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT). The consortium also includes Imperial College London along with a number of non-academic industry partners.

Your role will be to work with the management board, advisory board, and the postgraduate student body, to oversee and facilitate all operational activities of the CDT. This will include project management and acting as secretary at board meetings. You will take a proactive role in the development and promotion of the CDT, including taking a long-term strategic view of its development. You will be expected to have an effective working relationship with the UKRI STAI CDT Management Team, the Centre for Doctoral Studies as well as key contacts (academic and professional services) in the partner institutions.

You will be expected to be a highly motivated self-starter who is able to perform effectively under pressure and work on your own initiative. This post would suit an experienced research management professional who is comfortable working across institutional boundaries and able to communicate effectively at a variety of levels.
