Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Surgery (Ref.: 496959), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in biomedical science or in a related discipline, with extensive research experience in neuro-oncology. They should have strong expertise and experimental background in at least one of the following areas: animal work, cell culture, molecular analysis, and bioinformatics analysis. They should also have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently in a research setting. Preference would be given to those who have been specifically trained in the following areas: PDX-model, confocal imaging, animal surgery, animal drug delivery, and in vitro models of functional assay. The appointee will conduct research in neuro-oncology. There will be ample opportunities to work with clinicians to develop a research career in academia.
