  • Be responsible for policy development and overseeing Higher Education Standards Framework (HESF) review processes, including bench-marking and compliance analysis
  • Full time, continuing role based at the Melbourne (Bundoora) campus
  • $109,673 - $116,295 per annum plus 17% superannuation

About the role

The Quality and Standards Office sits within the portfolio of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic) and is responsible for quality assurance of academic operations. The Senior Advisor, Policy and Standards, works closely with the Executive Director and provides leadership and support to the University community on policy development and review, and oversees Higher Education Standards Framework (HESF) review processes.

Skills and Experience

To be the successful candidate you will have:

  • A degree and extensive relevant Higher Education experience;
  • Substantial experience and expertise in leading and crafting complex policy and procedure suites across various departments;
  • Proven ability to provide guidance to staff within operation area in progressing policy changes
  • Ability to provide high level advice to senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a complex matrix environment and balance a range of priorities and expectations;
  • Proven record of developing innovative solutions and practical implementation frameworks;
  • Highly developed understanding of the application and evaluation of Higher Education Regulations.
