SUPERVISOR, ADMINISTRATIVE CLINICAL OPERATIONS, MIT Medical, to provide day to day oversight of patient services portions of the service area. Will supervise patient service representatives, ensuring that each patient’s experience is positive and that patient flow and appointment scheduling is completed accurately and efficiently; oversee highly visible positions that have extensive patient contact, both in person and by telephone; provide back-up to the nurse practice manager as it relates to administrative project work or interaction with venders and/or other external stakeholders; serve as a principal resource on all operational matters for assigned area and possibly as a consultant to other service areas on operational matters; collaborate with other key stakeholders to develop and implement procedures to insure efficient processing of work; and participate in confidential salary planning for staff as well as the development and maintenance of systems and/or processes that measure the results of front line staff work/productivity, volume, patient/staff/provider satisfaction, or other work improvement indicators.
REQUIRED: a bachelor’s degree; at least three years’ experience in health care, administration, business or other relevant discipline; proven ability to coach and develop others; self-motivation and proactive approach to the work; ability to make independent decisions and work with little to no direction while simultaneously keeping management informed and escalating issues appropriately; expert-level knowledge of customer service models and methodologies and the ability to motivate others to emulate best practices.
