Engine Shed is many things – it’s a venue, coworking space, office space provider and an economic development project in its own right. Amongst other independent tenants, it hosts the world’s joint top business incubator, SETsquared Bristol. The team who run Engine Shed and SETsquared Bristol work for the University of Bristol and trade through a subsidiary company.

This part time role is key to the efficient management of our finance systems and is part of a small team managing the accounts coding, processing, reporting and analysis for the different business units.

You will be a team player who is entirely comfortable working in a small, growing, dynamic business. Our revenue has grown 5-fold in the last 5 years and expects to deliver further significant growth with the potential of expansion into new sites as well as growth in capacity and capability.

You will bring experience of a variety of finance tasks across the sales and purchase ledgers and you’ll be nimble with spreadsheets and attracted to a systematic approach to workflows and meeting monthly deadlines. When everything around you is changing fast, we need you to be rock steady.
