The University is seeking to appoint a motivated and capable individual with a professional attitude to join our small Insurance and Procurement team based in the Finance Department.

The Insurance & Procurement Assistant is a part time role which combines being the first point of contact on insurance queries with providing administrative and other support to the procurement function. The role is challenging, given the diversity of tasks, and requires a customer service focus at all times.   

To be successful, you will need to be a quick learner, possess strong organisational skills and be capable of working with close attention to detail. You will also need to be a team player who can communicate effectively with a wide range of colleagues both verbally and in writing. 

Previous experience of working in either a insurance/procurement role or in higher education would be an advantage. However, relevant on the job training will be available for candidates who can demonstrate they have the necessary attributes to be successful in the role.
