This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join Safety and Health Services (S&HS) to provide administrative support to the Occupational Health Service. To include arranging clinical appointments, and to provide a professional and efficient service acting as the first point of contact for staff and students.

As part of a busy service, the Administrator will be a central part of a highly experienced team. Team working will be an important and daily part of the experience, however the post holder will also be expected to work independently, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the Occupational Health Service.

You should be able to demonstrate a number of competences including attention to detail, flexibility in approach to work, and the ability to manage conflicting deadlines independently. You should have proven administrative experience, including diary management; excellent written and verbal communication skills, dealing confidently with a wide range of people; and possess the customer care skills to deliver a high-quality service to our staff and students. Good IT Skills, in particular MS Excel, and the ability to learn to effectively use new systems is essential.

The post is on an open-ended contract and part time, 28 hours per week/ 0.8 FTE.
