Job description

The ESF funded Leading Lancashire project is a consortium of regional FE/HE partners, led by UCLan. The aim of the project is to enhance equal access to lifelong learning by developing Leadership and Management Skills for Succession, with a specific focus on individuals who are employed within Lancashire SMEs within key industries to support business growth in the area.

The post-holder will work closely with the Delivery Manager to support the delivery of the UCLan ESF Leading Lancashire programmes. The post-holder will undertake relevant ESF processes and paperwork, will support the design, creation and distribution of programme materials including stock checking and ordering items within budget. Prior to each programme they will ensure that delegates and facilitators have the information they need to deliver a high quality programme. During delivery and post-programme, they will arrange any logistics for programme materials as required. They will provide scheduling support and maintain accurate records, contribute to progress reports and support the achievement of targets. The post-holder will also provide support for the gathering of evaluation data and the completion of relevant post-programme course paperwork, to ensure a high quality programme is delivered. When relevant, the post-holder will work with the recruitment team to support the recruitment of delegates to programmes.

With experience of supporting the achievement of projects, scheduling of events and of co-ordinating or supporting others, the successful candidate will have excellent administration and communication skills. Holding a degree, HE diploma or equivalent work experience of qualifications, the successful candidate will have the ability to plan and prioritise work in order to achieve targets.
