Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 495893), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree with a very strong background in infectious disease epidemiology, surveillance and control. They should have excellent communication skills, experience in knowledge sharing, a strong record of research output, and the ability to work independently as well as in a multidisciplinary team. Experience in infectious disease research and antimicrobial resistance program management is highly desirable. The appointee will research on environmental mediators of influenza transmission, modeling influenza transmission dynamics in the community, and antimicrobial resistance. Information about the School can be obtained at http://sph.hku.hk/index.php.
