ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT I, Sloan School of Management, to perform diverse administrative support duties for the Master of Business Analytics (MBAn) Program office.  Will work very closely with the program’s director and program coordinator to facilitate multiple projects.  Will also provide administrative support for the Master of Business Analytics (MBAn) director, including planning, organizing, and executing various programs and events; managing finances; and providing support for correspondence with partners/stakeholders, travel, calendaring, reimbursements, purchases, and courses; and assisting with maintaining website and related marketing materials.  Will serve as an integral member of Master of Business Analytics team, provide solid organizational and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the MBAn program, and be responsible for coordinating day-to-day activities of the MBAn office.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED:  a high school diploma or its equivalent; at least two years of administrative, office, or related experience; strong organizational, administrative, interpersonal, and written communication skills; attention to detail; ability to own and follow through on tasks, meet multiple tight deadlines, and prioritize work appropriately; proactive approach to projects, problem-solving, communication, and planning; excellent proofreading skills and know of English grammar; ability to effectively collaborate and interface with multiple constituencies including faculty, students, industry leaders, donors, media, students, faculty, and other MIT offices; and discretion and good judgment with confidential information.  Bachelor’s degree preferred.  Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe products would be a plus.  Familiarity with Sloan and MIT policies and procedures is highly desirable.  Job #17611-4

Must be available to work outside normal business hours, staffing evening and occasional weekend events.
