Pro Vice Chancellor, Learning and Teaching

The Pro Vice Chancellor Learning and Teaching is a member of the Office of the Senior Deputy Vice Chancellor (SDVC), and will work closely with the SDVC and other senior leaders to play a key role in the development and implementation of Griffith's strategic plan.
The portfolio of the Senior Deputy Vice Chancellor includes Academic Administration, Griffith Online, Learning Futures and Library and Learning Services. The Pro Vice Chancellor (Learning and Teaching) will work collaboratively within the Senior Deputy Vice Chancellor portfolio and with the Group Deans (Learning and Teaching) to implement key strategies relating to learning, teaching, assessment, the student experience, student equity, student retention and graduate outcomes, including employability.
As the learning preferences of students continually evolve, this role will contribute to development and implementation of innovative opportunities across the portfolio, including technology-enhanced learning.
Candidates will require a substantial academic track record, research outcomes and scholarship in a relevant field, and demonstrated effective senior leadership and management experience.
