Full-Time, Fixed Term

Royal Holloway University based in Egham, Surrey is looking for a StoryLab Producer to join its £5m StoryFutures R&D project. You will work with independent producers across television, film, digital media, brands and games to use emerging technologies including Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Artificial Intelligence to create prototype productions. The StoryLab Producer will take responsibility for organising established pitching events, whereby independent companies can win funded commissions for high profile clients such as Heathrow and the National Gallery, the BFI, Channel 4 and BBC.

As the person responsible for managing relationships between independent production companies, commissioning client and the University, the Producer will have oversight of all commissions as well as other productions across a diverse slate, to ensure that they are delivered on time, on budget and meet expectations.

This role might suit someone who has Produced or Line Produced or Product Managed within a branded content, digital media or TV production environment or has been a senior Production Manager.

StoryFutures is a government funded initiative to establish a Reasearch & Development base for screen industries to meet the challenge of next-generation storytelling, producing compelling content for emerging creative technologies. More information: https://www.storyfutures.com

This is a full time, 2 years and 11 months post available from 1st September 2019 or before depending on availability.
