Applications are invited for the above post based in the Division of Medical Sciences and Graduate Entry Medicine in the School of Medicine based on the Royal Derby Hospital site.

You will be responsible for setting up for Anatomy, Pathology, Human Physiology and Clinical Skills classes and exams.  The duties will include moving furniture, medical equipment and models, as well as meeting and greeting patients who are attending teaching sessions.  You will be responsible for administrative support in Anatomy and for Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCE’s) including using the hardware and software used for theses exams.

A moderate degree of physical effort is required specifically moving furniture and handling human cadaveric specimens, some of which can be heavy. 

You must have experience in a relevant role with good organisational skills, excellent interpersonal skills and knowledge of manual handling techniques.   It is preferable that you have an understanding of the Human Tissue Act and has experience working in a clinical skills or human anatomy unit. 

This is a full-time, permanent post (36.25 hours per week) occasional weekend cover may be required to cover open days. Job share arrangements may be considered for this post.
