About the Job
The University of South Australia is the State’s only university to offer aviation at the tertiary level. It offers a Bachelor of Aviation with specialisations in piloting and aviation management along with a flight training program, the Graduate Diploma in Aviation, in conjunction with Flight Training Adelaide at Parafield Airport, which is adjacent to the Mawson Lakes Campus. The School of Engineering provides education for aviation’s future leaders and practitioners in piloting and aviation management, with an increasing emphasis on non-technical skills such as human factors, crew resource management, multi crew cooperation and safety management. Skills and Experience
We have an exciting opportunity for individuals to join our academic team in contributing to the continuous development, delivery and research of our Aviation Management Programs.
If you have a doctoral qualification in an aviation management or relevant field, a postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline, or professional/industry experience within aviation including registration with an appropriate professional body then this would be a great opportunity for you.
We are seeking an individual with aviation expertise who will have the ability to undertake teaching duties within a large class environment using the necessary digital techniques required for effective curriculum delivery. High level administration and organisational skills, along with the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively is essential to be successful in this role.
