The position is responsible for assisting the Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach with all aspects of program management. In addition to coaching duties, extensive recruiting, scouting, counseling student-athletes,office administration, development,and planning are involved. Ability to motivate recruits and team members, and advise team members is essential. The work is performed under general supervision and reports to the Head Coach.
A Bachelors Degree is required and 2 years to 3 years of lacrosse playing/coaching experience or equivalent combination of education and
experience,preferably at the collegiate level. Candidates must be able to motivate recruits and student lacrosse players for high levels of success in a nationally competitive Division I program. Candidates should also be able to motivate alumni and friends to support the program enthusiastically. Ability to counsel and advise students is essential. Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills are required. Ability and willingness to work evenings/weekends/holidays and travel as required by competitive and practice schedules. Valid drivers license required.
