Student Support Officer ​

Salary: Grade 5, £22,017 - £26,243 per annum

This post is offered as full time (35 hours per week) and has funding available for 2 years in the first instance.

You will provide first line support to University of Glasgow undergraduate and postgraduate students studying Computing Science plans, signposting to specialist services and academic advisers as appropriate and acting as a conduit between students and staff within Student and Academic Services, other University Services (e.g. Library, Finance Office, Learning, Enhancement and Academic Development Service) and the School.

Based within the School of Computing Science and forming an integral part of the School team, you will ensure the effective day to day running, co-ordination and seamless delivery of student support and wellbeing provision so that students receive the support they need when they need it and that staff will feel confident about what kind of support is available to their students, how to access it or refer to specialist provision as appropriate.
