The UC Business School is in the top five per cent of business schools in the world, as evidenced by the accreditation by AACSB International. The School is seeking to appoint a Professor or Associate Professor of Accounting with expertise in either financial accounting, management accounting or auditing to the Department of Accounting and Information Systems.
Holding a relevant PhD, you will have an international scholarly reputation in one of the aforementioned areas of accounting and be able to demonstrate a track record of exceptional, innovative teaching, including successful Master's and PhD supervision. You will be at the forefront of the changing accounting profession and will have undertaken high-quality research that informs your teaching, including experience in leading curriculum/discipline development. A highly credible publication record and strong service ethic will be important in this position, combined with a collegial and inclusive leadership style, with a natural ability to engage and partner across the Department, UC Business School and external stakeholders.

The base salary will be within the collective agreement for academic staff but may include an additional market loading for this appointment.
