The Office of the PVC Digital Futures is currently looking to employ an eLearning Support Officer for the Technology Enabled Learning (TEL) Activation project.

The eLearning Support Officer will provide high level support to academic staff in the Schools to build their capacity in Technology Enabled Learning. The eLearning Support Officer will help establish the proactive use of TEL by academic staff across the University and your duties will include:

  • Design, develop and implement a program of training to build staff capacity in Technology Enabled Learning and effective use of the Learning Management System in consultation with the Senior Digital Consultant.
  • Effectively evaluate the effectiveness of a staff training program.
  • Educational design skills for group workshops and one-on-one consultations to staff regarding the project.
  • Provide pedagogical advice to academic staff regarding effective design of Technology Enabled Learning environments
  • Basic video and editing skills.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in providing client service and technical user support in a distributed network.
  • Understanding of video production techniques including editing, workflow and post-production.
  • Proven ability to support and build staff capacity in new technologies, including the Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Demonstrated experience in providing sound pedagogic advice to teaching staff regarding effective design of Technology Enabled Learning environments.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position until December 2021, based at our Penrith Campus.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 7 $104,004 to $112,222 p.a (comprising Salary $87,885 to $94,829 p.a., plus 17% Superannuation and Leave Loading)
