The Department of English Studies at Durham University seeks to appoint a Lecturer in Modern and Contemporary Literature and Theory.

The successful candidate will have research and teaching interests in any area of modern and contemporary literature in English and the ability to teach broadly on the Department’s curriculum as appropriate. They will be able to provide evidence of outstanding research potential and/or achievement in any area of modern and contemporary literature and theory and will contribute to strengthening and enhancing the University’s international profile through teaching and research of global reach and significance.
