Human fungal pathogens cause severe morbidity and life-threatening infections in millions of individuals worldwide. Despite this, the fungal pathogenicity factors that promote infection are unclear. A Research Assistant, funded by a Wellcome Trust Investigator Award, will employ molecular, cellular, immunological and microbiological technologies to investigate the interaction between fungal pathogens and their products with host cells. You will be based in the laboratories of Professor Julian Naglik at King’s College London, where you will produce independent, original research within the group.
This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract until March 31st 2024.
The selection process will include a panel interview.
