Field Education Manager, Social Work
About the role
The Field Education Manager is responsible for the development and delivery of the field education program in the Bachelor of Social Welfare and Master of Social Work (Professional Qualifying).
This position works collaboratively across a team of academics and administrative support staff to maximise the student placement experience and learning outcomes. The Field Education Manager will also engage with placement providers and field educators to manage the placements of students.
The Bachelor of Social Welfare and Master of Social Work (Professional Qualifying) degrees have been recognised as providing outstanding learning opportunities with students reporting well above the national average for satisfaction with the overall quality of educational experience (QILT 2019).
To be successful in this role you will utilise your ability to engage effectively with stakeholders to manage the field education program. You will be an experienced Social Worker and maintain strong links with professional bodies and organisations within the social work industry to manage and identify new opportunities for field placements.
You will have excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills and be committed to enhancing the student experience and graduate outcomes.
