About the Job 

The School of Marketing is part of the UniSA Business School and is Australia’s most distinctive School of Marketing, ranked #1 in the world for brand research impact on industry. The School’s research arm, the Ehrenberg-Bass Institute for Marketing Science engages directly with over 70 of the world’s leading marketing companies as well as local profit and non-profit organisations. This funding supports its programs of fundamental research into discovering law-like patterns in marketing by supporting a large number of research students and data acquisition. The School utilises this cutting-edge research in its courses to prepare students for real-world marketing practice. 

The School is looking for a Senior Lecturer in Marketing who is team oriented and willing to become proficient in our applied research philosophy into the discovery and application of empirical laws of marketing with both companies and students. We are most interested in candidates with experience in any aspect of digital, social media, and online marketing. 

The position will be responsible for conducting and delivering research with relevance and impact for marketing practitioners, whilst driving course development and delivery in Digital Marketing and/or Digital Media in teaching, with contributions to other areas of the School’s curriculum.

The ability to engage and built effective relationships with government, industry partners and the business community to enhance funding opportunities and secure grants is essential to be successful in this role.
