The Professor, Management provides academic leadership in research, teaching, professional activities, and policy decisions in the academic discipline within the School and the University. The Professor will have an outstanding research record, evidenced from his or her quality publications record, PhD completions and research grants. This position is a strategic appointment which forms part of the University’s priorities to further develop its research capacity in business.

To be successful, candidates will need an international scholarly reputation including an outstanding record of research publications in refereed international journals in the area of management. With the ability to attract funds for research and/or consultancies, applicants will need to demonstrate a strong record of Doctoral supervision to completion; experience in establishing and directing research groups; and management expertise, including sound people, resource and financial management skills. Academic experience and qualifications, commensurate with this senior academic level, are required.
