The School of Veterinary Medicine follows a distributed model for final year teaching and we are actively partnered with leading veterinary practices and local research institutes whose clinicians and scientists participate in teaching throughout the undergraduate curriculum

The School of Veterinary Medicine is seeking to recruit a veterinary-qualified professional as Veterinary Partnerships and Animal Resources Manager. This is a new role in the School which recognises the needs of our growing partner network. The successful candidate will administer aspects of audit, quality assurance and health and safety of students undertaking placements with our educational partners outside the university. The post-holder will report to the Head of Veterinary Partnerships and Animal Resources, deputising for them when necessary, ensuring that the School’s educational resources meets the quality standards of relevant professional bodies.

Applicants must be registered (or eligible to register) with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (MRCVS) and have experience of UK veterinary practice. We seek an individual with excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills and a willingness to work with colleagues and external partners to deliver high quality veterinary educational resources; with this in mind, occasional travel to partner organisations locally and throughout the UK will be required.
