Senior Data Officer
The Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine is seeking to appoint Senior Data Officer to lead the delivery of business intelligence for the Faculty to support its operations and decision-making. The post holder will:
- manage a team of two, setting the standard for professionalism and quality
- oversee and support the Faculty systems and databases, ensuring data quality and where possible enhancing and strengthening systems to improve their function
- lead the Health Faculties’ education database project, from data collection, through to analysis used to support resourcing and performance management
- support a range of projects of diverse levels of complexity, including the Faculty’s submission to REF2021.
Able to build collaborative relationships with colleagues at all levels, the post holder will have excellent Excel skills, and ideally expertise in one or more business intelligence tools; have strong analytical and project management skills; have strong problem-solving skills, be responsive to changing priorities and an outstanding communicator.
This post will be offered on an indefinite contract.
This is a full-time post – 100% full time equivalent.
The selection process will include a panel interview and an assessment.
