Clinical Professor in Dental Public Health

This post is based within the Institute of Dentistry at Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary University of London. The Institute is home to the top rated UK Dental School for quality of dental research, as assessed in the 2014 Research Excellence Framework (REF) and is placed 1st in the UK for dentistry in the Complete University Guide 2015 and 1st in England and Wales in the Guardian University Guide 2015. In 2014 we opened the first new dental school and hospital in the UK for 40 years, the stunning £78m Royal London Dental Hospital, giving us the most technologically advanced dental facilities in the country.

We are seeking to appoint a Clinical Professor in Dental Public Health to enable maintenance and improvement of our strong reputation in dental research and teaching. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to demonstrate creativity and to have their career flourish in this supportive environment.

The post is full time and indefinite, starting in September 2019 or soon thereafter. Benefits include 30 days’ annual leave and a pension scheme.  Starting salary will be in the range of £77,913 - £105,042 per annum, depending on experience and seniority at the consultant level.   

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
