The School of Veterinary Medicine follows a distributed model for final year teaching and we are actively partnered with leading veterinary practices and local research institutes whose clinicians and scientists participate in teaching throughout the undergraduate curriculum

The School of Veterinary Medicine, is seeking to recruit a talented individual to take responsibility for supporting and further expanding our partner network which is central to our educational strategy. This network provides clinical and pre-clinical educational opportunities for veterinary students. The current network includes over 60 partner organisations, including clinical practices, Further Education Colleges and food producers.

This is a senior position within the School. The role involves recruitment of new partner organisations, negotiation of contractual agreements, overseeing audits of facilities and delivery of quality assurance policies. The post-holder will report to the Head of Veterinary Education and will be responsible for ensuring that the School’s educational resources meets the quality standards of relevant professional bodies.

Applicants must be registered (or eligible to register) with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (MRCVS) and have experience of UK veterinary practice. We seek an individual with excellent networking and communications skills and a willingness to work with colleagues and external partners to deliver high quality veterinary educational resources. Frequent travel to partner organisations throughout the UK will be required.
