Secretary to the Board of Governors and Company Secretary

Fee £8,500

Total of 450 hours per annum to be worked as necessary

to cover the responsibilities required.

The Governing Body of Rose Bruford College are seeking a suitably experienced, well organised and efficient person to undertake the role of Secretary to the Board of Governors and Company Secretary. 

The role holder will ensure that the College operates within its prescribed constitutional and legal framework, provide relevant advice to the Board of Governors, ensure that the Board’s business is properly conducted; establish effective interaction between the Board of Governors and the College’s Senior Management; and advise the Principal and senior staff on appropriate legal and compliance matters.

In addition to the above, administration duties will include the preparation of agendas, taking and distribution of minutes, dealing with correspondence and regular liaison with the Chair of Governors and Chairs of Committees.
